WELCOMING STATEMENT
We sometimes find ourselves like the disciples—knowing, but not understanding the One we worship. We have come together today, perhaps tossed about by the storms of life, wondering what will happen to us. But we are here. And because we are here, the Lord is also here. Let us come in faith that the one who stilled the storm so many years ago will also still the storms in our lives.

This is an event designed specifically to really engage and challenge men.
This year from USA, we warmly welcome international author & speaker Jeff Lucas. Jeff is the author of some 18 books as well as a pastor & will be exploring the theme of Man Alive over 3 talks, looking specifically at the life and deeds of Samson. The day lasts from 9.30am-4.45pm with various breaks & lunch in between (not provided).
Tickets for the day event can still be bought for £22 rather than the £25 cover price and can be booked on-line via http://www.thecommission.org.uk. In addition, we have writer and musician Stuart Townend with us again. Stuart has written some of today’s best-known worship music and travels the world extensively leading worship and teaching at many different events. We are glad to have him at ours!
Stuart will also be performing in the evening from 7.30pm – 9.30pm in the same venue. Tickets are just £10pp and an ideal opportunity for wives and partners to join the remainder of the day.

WILLIAMWOOD’S GOT TALENT – The date is now Saturday 19 November, allowing more time to prepare & rehearse! Everyone is invited to take part – speak to Carole Lyons about how to help out.
