WORLD DAY OF PRAYER: Our local service is on Friday 2nd March at 7:30pm in St Joseph’s Church – All welcome!

MEARNSKIRK HOSPITAL SERVICE: would anyone who is willing to volunteer to take part in and/or lead a team in a short half hour service at Mearnskirk Hospital please speak to Alan Mathew or Mr Reid. A team would consist of around half a dozen people, and the service would have usually five songs/hymns, two short readings and a Prayer (incl. Lord’s Prayer).

IMPORTANT FINANCE NOTICE
Dear Fellow Members and Adherents of Williamwood Church
Our annual accounts have shown that the past two years have revealed a continuing decline in Givings and that our membership continues to be reduced through deaths. Accordingly our Congregational Board have prepared a reduced budget for 2012. However to achieve this and avoid a significant deficit, we require an average monthly Givings income of £7,500. We are able to see from the figures available for January that the Givings we received were £6,707. This is a shortfall of £793, which is 11% below budget.
We bring this to your attention so that we are all aware of our developing situation and in the hope that we will be able to meet the income target our 2012 budget requires.  Thank you for your continued support.

KICK OFF WILIAMWOOD’S 75TH ANNIVERSARY AT THE FAMILY CEILIDH Saturday 25 February at Clarkston Bowling & Tennis Club, Eastwoodmains Rd (7.30pm till late) – Tickets on sale after Church from the Events Committee (£6, £3 kids). NB: due to hall restrictions, entry is by pre purchased tickets only. Come along for dancing & fun.
