A WARM WELCOME TO OUR WORSHIP TODAY – if you are a visitor please sign our visitor’s book in the vestibule. Our church has something for all ages and activities go on throughout the week.

Please join us in the Large Hall after the morning service where tea & coffee is available, served by the Doors Open team. Large print copies of the order of service are available from the duty team.

WE’RE WELCOMING NEW MEMBERS – a New Year and a New Start
In February/March a small group of people will be joining us as full members of Williamwood Church. They will be meeting with the minister at the manse for a few hours in preparation for this commitment to Jesus and his church. Please remember them in your prayers. If there is anyone else, of any age, who would also like to join the group or find out more, please contact Mr Reid on 0141 571 7949 and he will be happy to answer any questions.

WE WELCOME REV. TOM NELSON of Netherlee Church to our Church as part of the annual exchange, while Mr Reid and Ann McCormick at Busby Church.

WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY – a Service will be held at Busby Church tonight at 7:30pm. The Very Rev Dr Gregor Duncan, Episcopal Bishop of Glasgow & Galloway, is guest speaker. Everyone is invited to attend.

WORSHIP ON THE WEB – our morning services are available on line at www.williamwoodparishchurch.org.uk at “Worship on demand”.

THE BOYS BRIGADE has a ‘limited edition’ 2012 Tea Towel for sale which has been specially made to mark our 75th anniversary. These are available today from Mark Gordon, for the fantastic price of £3.50, in the Large Hall.

MUSIC GROUP – we meet in the church after the morning service.

ALPHA TEAM and anyone interested – meet with Mr Reid at 12.40pm today.

THE GUILD – takes place on Tue 24 January. Mr Alastair Whitelaw will be speaking on “Glasgow Bus Tours”. Please come along. You will be very welcome.

FAIR TRADE STALL – Sunday 5th February after morning worship.

KWENDERANA PARTNERSHIP GROUP are holding a Craft Table Top Sale in Busby Church on Sat 11 Feb. (10am–12 noon). £10 can hire a small table(s) and there will be a tea room, baking stall & unwanted gifts stall. Stall donations are gratefully received. Entry is £2 (£1 kids) incl. Tea/coffee & home baking.

KICK OFF WILIAMWOOD CHURCH 75TH ANNIVERSARY AT THE FAMILY CEILIDH – Saturday 25 February at Clarkston Bowling & Tennis Club, Eastwoodmains Rd (7.30pm till late). Tickets on sale after Church in the hall or from any of the Events Committee (£6 adults, £3 children). Please note due to hall restrictions on numbers entry by pre purchased tickets only. Come along for some dancing & fun. Any prizes for raffle on the night greatly appreciated & can be passed to the Committee (Carole Lyons, Jean Nimmo, Betty Patrick, Lillian Broadly, Mary Montgomery, Norrie Dallas, Irene Heffron, Maisie McFarlane).

CHURCH QUIZ – Sunday 11th March at 7:30pm – please pass details of your organisation’s team(s) to Mark Gordon as soon as possible

CHURCH DINNER – 11th May at the Holiday Inn, East Kilbride approx £30.00 (no more). Please see Margaret Robertson, names only just now.

CHURCH FLOWERS – The rota for the delivery of flowers for the months of January and February is now available in the vestibule.

LOCAL COMMUNITY CHOIR – if you are interested in being involved please let Alan Mathew know. More details will become known as time progresses.

CHURCH NOTICE BOARDS – are for the use of our organisations & regular users of the premises. Please, do not place notices on glass doors or windows.
